Guava Rose Quartz
Pink guava, vodka, lime, and a measured touch of rose under a light foam.

Ingredients
Cocktail
- 1½ fl oz vodka
- 2 fl oz pink guava nectar
- ½ fl oz fresh lime juice
- ¼ fl oz prepared 1:1 simple syrup
- ⅛ tsp food-grade rosewater
- ½ fl oz aquafaba (liquid drained from canned chickpeas)
- 1 cup ice
Finish
- 1 small pink guava wedge
Optional homemade simple syrup
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water; use this with the sugar only if making syrup from scratch
Equipment
Shaker, fine strainer, chilled 7-fl-oz coupe
Allergens and ingredient notes: Alcohol, chickpeas; check nectar and spirit labels.
Measurements are US fluid ounces (fl oz), tablespoons (tbsp), and teaspoons (tsp). Syrup components may make extra: use only the drink quantity listed. These recipes contain alcohol and are intended for adults 21 and over.
Step by step
- If making syrup, dissolve the optional sugar in its hot water and cool completely. Measure only ¼ fl oz for the drink; prepared syrup can be used instead, with the optional group omitted.
- Add vodka, guava nectar, lime juice, measured syrup, food-grade rosewater, and aquafaba to a shaker without ice. Seal and shake for 15 seconds.
- Add ice and shake for another 12–15 seconds. Fine-strain into the chilled coupe, let the foam settle briefly, and garnish with the guava wedge. Keep the rosewater to the measured amount.
The Devotti twist: Guava supplies the body and color; a small measured rosewater addition makes the aroma floral rather than perfumed.
Make ahead and storage
Shake immediately before serving. Refrigerate unused nectar and aquafaba according to their labels; homemade syrup keeps refrigerated for up to 3 days.
